Everything was well-maintained, so were lovely views to a garden-adorable. This accommodation had a very central setting on a quiet area yet within walking distance from public transportation to major attractions.

The staff at this Ryokan are fantastic and it truly makes for a great Japanese experience.
The location is fairly good because of the proximity to Kyoto station. However, your eating options and going out options are limited because it is somewhat distant from central Kyoto where the action is.

A friendly traditional japanese inn with choice of both futons and modern western style rooms. There was a friendly atmosphere round the breakfast table. Pity no evening meal and it would have been nice to have the option of japanese style communal bathing.

The location of the hotel was marvellous - just a short stroll away from a historic marketplace. Incredible breakfast with wonderful flavours, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well, the views were not very nice here.

Room was very small and the walls were thin so you could heard talking from the next room and from the corridor very clearly.

Very friendly staff and beautiful Japanese style room
No hot water in the shower (wasn't really necessary in the July heat, but I still would have preferred to have the choice)

Very helpful english speaking staff, in between the station and the shopping district. Small but well equipped room. A modern ryokan hotel but with traditional rooms.
